Onboard a company. Approve once. Cold email runs itself.
Tell Autopilot “onboard acme.com, budget $500/month” and it derives the Ideal Customer Profile from the website, sizes your audience free, finds and verifies prospects, and drafts the sequence. Everything parks at one human approval. Only then does it buy and warm mailboxes, launch, and run unattended.
Running cold email well means doing a dozen jobs in the right order: research the company, define the audience, set up domains and mailboxes, ramp them, build and verify a prospect list, write a sequence, launch, then keep the campaign fed. Autopilot does all of it on top of the same cold email software you'd use by hand, and compresses your involvement to a single decision: the approval.
That gate is not a formality. Campaigns in Emailchaser are always created in draft, and Autopilot spends nothing while it prepares, so a run can build everything and still have bought and sent nothing. You review the ICP, the prospects, the copy and the infrastructure plan with its exact cost on one screen, approve once, and only then does Autopilot buy your sending accounts and begin.
How an Autopilot run works
Six stages, one approval. Everything before the approval is free preparation. Money moves and mail sends only after it.
Website to Ideal Customer Profile
Point Autopilot at a company's website. It reads what the company sells and to whom, and derives the Ideal Customer Profile (titles, seniorities, industries, company sizes and locations) for you to refine or accept.
Verified prospects, sized free
Autopilot sizes your audience first, because seeing how many people match your ICP should cost nothing. It then reveals verified prospects against your credit balance, so you only ever pay for real, deliverable people.
The sequence, drafted
It writes a multi-step cold email sequence grounded in the ICP and the company's own positioning. Like every campaign in Emailchaser, it is created in draft. Nothing is sendable yet.
One human approval
The whole run parks at a single review: the ICP, the prospects, the drafted sequence, and the infrastructure plan your budget sizes, with its exact monthly cost. Nothing is bought and nothing sends before you approve.
Infrastructure, bought after you approve
Approving is what authorises the spend. Only then does Autopilot buy done-for-you domains and mailboxes ($6 per mailbox per month, provider-side warm-up included) and enrol every new mailbox in a gradual ramp-up: sending volume increased from a couple of emails a day to its cap, plus the Emailchaser warm-up pool.
Then it runs unattended
From that one approval on, Autopilot keeps the campaign fed: it tops up fresh verified prospects automatically, promotes winning A/B variants, and drafts AI replies for you to send. It never replies on its own.
Sizing is free. You pay only for revealed prospects.
Autopilot never spends your money blind. Searching and sizing an audience costs nothing: you see “34,000 people match” before a single credit is used. Credits are only spent when a verified prospect is revealed. 1 credit, 1 person.
Plans include monthly lead credits: 1,500 on Starter, 5,000 on Pro and 10,000 on Max. Plan credits refresh each month; purchased credits never expire. See pricing for plan details.
Operate it yourself, or hand it to an AI agent
Autopilot takes its orders from a person in the dashboard, or from an AI agent connected through the hosted Emailchaser MCP server. An agent like Claude Code or Cursor can start an onboarding (“onboard acme.com, budget $500/month”), watch the run progress, and report back when it parks at the approval, all authenticated with an API key you can scope and revoke.
The approval gate is the same either way. No agent, key or tool can make a campaign send without a human approving it first, which is what makes it safe to let an agent drive the rest.
Autonomous, not unaccountable
“Runs itself” only works if the guardrails are real. These are the four we won't bend.
Draft-first, spend-last
Campaigns are always created in draft, and infrastructure is only bought after you approve. Nothing spends and nothing sends before the human approval: not on Autopilot, not via the API, not from an AI agent.
Kill switch
Stop an Autopilot run at any time. One action pauses sending, top-ups and drafting across the whole onboarding.
AI replies stay drafts
When a prospect replies, Autopilot drafts a suggested response. A human sends it, edits it, or deletes it. The AI never answers a prospect directly.
Mailboxes ramped before they sell to anyone
Autopilot ramps every mailbox it buys before campaigns start: gradual build-up, 5 emails a day in week one, 5 more each week, holding at 50 a day. The warm-up pool (simulated engagement between member mailboxes) is a separate, opt-in setting per mailbox. Product numbers as of September 2026.
What customers reported
“It’s been great using Emailchaser. We closed a contract with a major nationwide pest control company last week to provide all their utility locating and concrete scanning services across the southeast Queensland region, all thanks to a well-written cold email. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to seeing the updates.”
“1st appointment booked from small test lead list of 40 emails. 0% bounce rate”
Autopilot FAQ
What is Emailchaser Autopilot?
Autopilot is a done-for-you way to launch cold email. You (or an AI agent) tell it to onboard a company with a monthly budget, for example "onboard acme.com, budget $500/month". It derives the Ideal Customer Profile from the website, sizes the audience free, finds and verifies prospects, writes the sequence, and parks everything at a single human approval. When you approve, it buys and warms domains and mailboxes if your budget calls for them, launches the campaign, and runs unattended from there.
Does Autopilot spend money or send emails without a human approving?
No. Campaigns are always created in draft, infrastructure is only bought after you approve, and nothing sends before that same approval. After it, the campaign runs unattended, but replies drafted by the AI still wait for a human to send them, and a kill switch stops the whole run at any time.
What exactly am I approving?
One review screen with the whole run on it: the derived Ideal Customer Profile, the verified prospect list, the drafted sequence, and the infrastructure plan your budget sizes, including exactly what will be bought and its monthly cost. Approve once and Autopilot takes it from there; reject or edit anything first if you want changes.
How much do prospects cost?
Sizing your audience is free: you see how many people match your ICP before spending anything. You pay only to reveal verified prospects: 1 credit per revealed prospect. Plans include monthly lead credits (1,500 on Starter, 5,000 on Pro, 10,000 on Max); plan credits refresh each month, and credits you purchase separately never expire.
How much do the mailboxes cost?
Done-for-you mailboxes are $6 per mailbox per month, with provider-side warm-up included, plus a one-time setup fee per mailbox and the domain registrations. Autopilot's budget planner shows the exact monthly and first-month cost on the approval screen before anything is bought.
Does Autopilot warm up the mailboxes it buys?
Yes, in the only way we believe in. Mailboxes bought through Emailchaser include provider-side warm-up, and because nobody reads them they are the one case we ramp without being asked: a gradual climb from a couple of emails a day to the sending cap. On mailboxes you connect yourself, the same warm-up is included and you switch it on per mailbox. Warm-up also puts the mailbox in our pool, where mail is exchanged with other real business mailboxes and opened, sometimes replied to, and moved out of spam. That is simulated engagement, so it is opt-in on anything you connect yourself.
Can an AI agent run Autopilot for me?
Yes. The hosted Emailchaser MCP server lets AI agents like Claude Code and Cursor operate your workspace with your API key, so an agent can kick off an onboarding, watch the run and report back. The human approval gate still applies: no agent can buy infrastructure or make a campaign send without a person approving it.
What does Autopilot do after I approve?
It sets up and warms your sending accounts if your budget calls for them, launches the campaign, then keeps it running without you: fresh verified prospects are topped up automatically from your credit balance as the campaign works through the list, winning A/B variants are promoted, and incoming replies get AI-drafted responses waiting for you to send.
Can I stop an Autopilot run?
Yes, at any time. The kill switch pauses sending, prospect top-ups and reply drafting for the whole onboarding, and you can resume when you're ready.

P.s. these are actually real reviews (not fake G2 reviews) 🙂
“Btw thanks for your continuous help, best support ever! It means a lot as when I understand how the tool works, esp. In problematic situations, and And what it can do and cannot so from the start, I have more trust. There’s nothing worse for a user than what Smartlead does: lots of great features that don’t really work, including crucial ones for a sequencer like auto fallback to connected accounts when account gets disconnected (doesn’t have to get back to the original one after reconnection, no one expects miracles, just a solid infra delivering on its specs - not promises), plus their low quality support when the issues are revealed.”
“Got my first reply with Emailchaser :)”
“We've recently upgraded to the premium plan to increase our sending volume. Just wanted to say thanks for such an awesome platform and the support you've already given in getting us started.”
