Anti-Spam Policy

Nobody may send spam with Emailchaser, or send spam to promote it.

Emailchaser does not allow spam. This policy applies to everyone who sends email with Emailchaser and to everyone who promotes Emailchaser: our customers and their team members, our affiliates and partners, and Emailchaser itself. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Nobody may use or promote Emailchaser with unsolicited messages.

Nobody may use Emailchaser, or advertise Emailchaser or the emailchaser.com website, by sending unsolicited bulk email, by posting unsolicited messages in comments, forums or social media, or by writing to people they have no business reason to contact.

2. Every campaign sent with Emailchaser must follow these rules.

Emailchaser is outreach software for business-to-business email. Customers connect their own mailboxes and are responsible for every message they send. Every customer must:

  • Follow every law that applies to the message and to the recipient, including the CAN-SPAM Act in the United States, CASL in Canada, and the GDPR and the ePrivacy rules (such as PECR in the UK) in the United Kingdom and the European Union.
  • Only write to business contacts about something relevant to their work. Where the law of the recipient's country requires consent before a first email, get that consent first.
  • Identify themselves honestly: a real sender name and address, accurate headers, and a subject line that matches the message.
  • Give every recipient a simple way to opt out, and honor every opt-out promptly and permanently.
  • Include a valid postal address wherever the law requires one.
  • Never write to addresses collected by harvesting or guessing, or to lists of consumers bought from third parties.
  • Verify lists before sending, and stop writing to addresses that bounce.
  • Never send phishing, malware, deceptive offers or illegal content, and never forge or hide where a message comes from.
  • Follow the rules of their own email provider.

3. Emailchaser protects recipients in four ways.

  • Every campaign email carries a one-click unsubscribe header (RFC 8058), so mailbox providers can show their own unsubscribe button.
  • When a recipient unsubscribes, with that button or by replying to ask, Emailchaser cancels the rest of that campaign's emails to them.
  • Emails to an address that has hard-bounced are cancelled before they are sent.
  • Sending is capped per mailbox, per campaign and per plan.

4. An affiliate who promotes Emailchaser with spam is removed from the program.

Affiliates and partners may not promote Emailchaser, or share a link to emailchaser.com or an affiliate link, in unsolicited email or unsolicited messages of any kind. An affiliate who breaks this rule is removed from the affiliate program.

5. Emailchaser holds its own email to the same rules.

Emailchaser's own marketing email goes only to people who signed up with us. Every one carries an unsubscribe link and our postal address, and it stops as soon as someone unsubscribes. Our own sales outreach is one-to-one, business-to-business, and follows every rule in section 2.

6. We can pause or close accounts that break this policy.

We may pause campaigns, or suspend or close accounts, that break this policy. We cooperate with mailbox providers and blocklist operators who investigate abuse.

7. Anyone can report spam sent with Emailchaser.

If you received unwanted email sent with Emailchaser, or saw Emailchaser promoted by spam, email abuse@emailchaser.com with the full message, including its headers. We review every report.

You can also write to us by post.
