Lemlist Review: Is It Worth It? (2026)

Updated August 2026

Honest lemlist review for 2026: personalization, multichannel, lemAgent AI, real ratings with sample sizes, and who it fits.

Lemlist is the best personalization engine in cold email, dynamic images, video, custom landing pages, plus LinkedIn, SMS, WhatsApp and calls in one sequence, but a 2025 price rise took the Email plan to $69/month, and there's still no real CRM inside.

What lemlist actually is

Lemlist (lowercase l, from the bootstrapped French lempire group) is a multichannel outbound platform. One subscription covers email sequences, a 650M+ contact database with email and phone finder, lemwarm warmup, and, on the Multichannel plan. LinkedIn, SMS, WhatsApp and calling steps. In 2025-2026 it added lemAgent, an AI agent that builds the list, the sequence and the messages from a prompt, plus agentic waterfall enrichment across up to 10 data providers.

Pricing rose about $10/seat in 2025: the Email plan is $69/mo month-to-month ($55 annual), Multichannel is $109 per user ($87 annual), Enterprise is custom, full breakdown in our lemlist pricing guide, current numbers on their pricing page.

What it does well

  • Personalization nobody matches. Dynamic images with the prospect's name or logo, personalized video, per-prospect landing pages, when reply rates hinge on standing out, this is lemlist's home turf.
  • True multichannel. LinkedIn + email + SMS + WhatsApp + calls in one sequence on the $109 plan.
  • Data included. The 650M+ database with email and phone finder ships even on the Email plan, with waterfall enrichment stacking up to 10 providers.
  • lemAgent (2026). Prompt-to-campaign AI that assembles list, copy and sequence, a real feature, not a demo.
  • Bootstrapped and stable. No investor pressure; lempire even acquired Claap (call intelligence) in October 2025.

What real users say, ratings with sample sizes

Collected July 2026, a rating without its review count is marketing, so both are shown:

G24.6 / 5  ·  1,342 reviews
Capterra4.6 / 5  ·  387 reviews

Consistent praise: the personalization features and the warm community. Consistent complaints: the 2025 price increase and how fast per-seat Multichannel costs stack for teams.

Where it falls short

  • No real Sales CRM. You'll manage pipeline elsewhere; lemlist is a campaign tool, not a system of record.
  • Per-seat multichannel math. Three sellers on Multichannel is $327/month, the personalization premium is real.
  • One sending inbox on the Email plan. Inbox-rotation senders will feel the ceiling immediately; more senders means the per-user Multichannel plan (5 per user).
  • Warmup-reliant deliverability. lemwarm is classic engagement-network warmup. We take the opposite position: mailbox providers increasingly detect faked engagement, so Emailchaser ramps real mailboxes automatically instead and leans on double email verification, two independent providers must both approve every address, keeping bounces under 1%.

Who should buy lemlist, and who shouldn't

Buy lemlist if: your replies depend on creative personalization (images, video, landing pages), or you genuinely work LinkedIn/SMS/WhatsApp/phone alongside email. On both, it beats us and most of the field.

Skip it if: you mainly need volume cold email with clean deliverability and a pipeline view. Emailchaser is a flat $47/mo, not per seat, with up to 30 sending accounts, unlimited team seats, automatic ramp-up, a built-in Sales CRM, the Lead Finder, and double verification included; see pricing. Frequently asked questions

Is lemlist any good?

Yes, 4.6/5 on G2 from 1,342 reviews and 4.6/5 on Capterra from 387 (July 2026). It leads the market in personalization and multichannel sequences; the criticisms are price and the missing CRM, not quality.

How much does lemlist cost?

After the 2025 price rise: Email $69/mo month-to-month ($55 annual), Multichannel $109 per user per month ($87 annual), Enterprise custom, checked July 2026 on lemlist.com.

What is lemAgent?

Lemlist's AI agent (2026): give it a prompt and it builds the lead list, writes the messages and assembles the sequence, using waterfall enrichment across up to 10 data providers.

Does lemlist have a CRM?

No, there's no built-in Sales CRM. Pipeline management needs a separate tool, which is one of the main functional gaps versus all-in-one competitors.

Is lemlist better than Emailchaser?

For personalization assets and multichannel (LinkedIn, SMS, WhatsApp, calls), yes. For flat-cost volume cold email, no: Emailchaser is $47/mo total with 30 sending accounts, unlimited seats, double verification and a built-in CRM, while lemlist is per-seat with engagement-network warmup.

The bottom line

Lemlist earns its 4.6 on G2 across 1,342 reviews: for personalization-led, multichannel outbound it's the best tool you can buy. Price the whole picture though, $69-109 per seat after the 2025 rise, no CRM, engagement-network warmup. Transparency note: I'm the founder of Emailchaser, so I'm biased: we compete with lemlist. Every number above was checked in July 2026 against the sources linked in the text, and I've aimed to be just as clear about where lemlist beats us as where we beat them.
