Mailshake Pricing: Plans, Caps & The Real Cost (2026)

Updated August 2026

Mailshake's per-user pricing in 2026: three tiers, hard sending-account caps, no free trial, and how it compares to flat pricing.

Mailshake starts at $29 per user per month, one of the lowest entry prices in cold email, but sending accounts are hard-capped at 1, 2 or 10 by plan, there's no free trial, and the tier most buyers actually want (LinkedIn + dialer) is $99 per user.

Mailshake's plans, explained

Pricing is per user, verified July 2026:

PlanMonthlyAnnual (per mo)Key limits
Starter$29/user$25/user1 sending account, unlimited contacts, 50 Data Finder credits
Email Outreach$49/user$45/user2 sending accounts
Sales Engagement$99/user$85/user10 sending accounts, LinkedIn automation, power dialer (5 numbers, unlimited North America minutes), 2,500 Data Finder credits
AgencyCustom, unlimited accounts

The caps and catches to price in

  • No free trial. Mailshake collects payment up front (there's a 30-day guarantee instead). You can't kick the tires for free.
  • Sending accounts: 1, 2 or 10. These are hard caps. Modern cold email runs on inbox rotation across many mailboxes; ten is the most Mailshake will connect below the custom Agency plan.
  • Per-user math. Three sellers on Sales Engagement is $297/month, the caps and the seats multiply together.
  • Data Finder is credit-metered (and an add-on at $19/mo beyond included credits); reviewers consistently rate its data accuracy below dedicated providers, so many buyers still pay for a separate data source.
  • Ready-to-use mailboxes cost $12/month each on top.

When Mailshake is genuinely the better buy

  • You want a phone in the loop. The power dialer with unlimited North America minutes on the $99 plan is a real bargain, a standalone dialer costs that much alone. We don't sell calling at any price.
  • Lowest absolute entry. $29 (or $25 annual) for one seat and one inbox undercuts our $47, for a solo founder sending gently, that's a fair deal (users rate it 4.7 on G2 from 338 reviews).
  • LinkedIn + email + phone in one seat. At $99 the multichannel package is simpler and cheaper than most sales-engagement suites.

One status note, since a few listicles get it wrong: Mailshake is independent and self-funded, it was the acquirer in its only 2026 deal, buying Warm Up Your Email in April 2026.

How it compares to flat pricing

Emailchaser sells the opposite shape: a flat $47/mo (not per user, seats are unlimited) with up to 30 sending accounts versus Mailshake's 2 at the same price point, unlimited active leads, automatic mailbox ramp-up, a built-in Sales CRM, the Lead Finder, and double email verification, two independent providers must both approve every address before we send, keeping bounces under 1%. And you can try it free for 7 days before paying anything, which Mailshake structurally doesn't offer. Full details on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Mailshake cost?

$29/user/mo (Starter), $49 (Email Outreach) or $99 (Sales Engagement), with annual billing at $25/$45/$85, verified July 2026 on mailshake.com/pricing. The Agency plan is custom.

Does Mailshake have a free trial?

No. Mailshake collects payment up front and offers a 30-day guarantee instead of a trial, one of the few cold email tools without a free way to test.

How many email accounts can I connect to Mailshake?

1 on Starter, 2 on Email Outreach, 10 on Sales Engagement (hard caps, July 2026). Unlimited accounts require the custom Agency plan, this is Mailshake's biggest structural limit for scaled cold email.

Is the Mailshake dialer worth it?

For North America calling, genuinely yes: the $99 Sales Engagement plan includes a power dialer with 5 phone numbers and unlimited NA minutes, comparable standalone dialers cost as much on their own.

Is Mailshake cheaper than Emailchaser?

At entry, yes ($29 vs $47). But Mailshake is per user with 1-10 sending-account caps, while Emailchaser's flat $47 covers unlimited seats, 30 sending accounts, double email verification and a built-in CRM, and has a free 7-day trial, which Mailshake doesn't.

The bottom line

Mailshake's $29 entry is real and its $99 dialer tier is honestly good value for phone-heavy teams. The structural problem is the 1/2/10 sending-account caps: cold email at scale is an inbox-rotation game, and Mailshake caps the one resource that matters, with payment up front before you can test it. If you want rotation room, verification and a CRM in one flat bill you can trial free, try Emailchaser for 7 days.

Transparency note: I'm the founder of Emailchaser, so I'm biased: we compete with Mailshake. Every number above was checked in July 2026 against the sources linked in the text, and I've aimed to be just as clear about where Mailshake beats us as where we beat them.
