Background

I am self-taught. I started as a frontend developer in 2012 and have spent the years since building B2B SaaS companies, which is how I ended up on the operating side of Momentum Labs, the studio that owns Emailchaser.

Momentum Labs describes itself as building “technology that multiplies business results without multiplying costs”, across eight profitable B2B SaaS companies serving more than 10,000 businesses. Emailchaser is one of them, and I am one of the three partners who own and run it.

Why I write about cold email

Most cold email advice is written by people who have never had to make a campaign work for someone else's money. Prymatica, the agency I run, is done-for-you cold email: we source the prospects, write the sequences, run the sending infrastructure and get judged on meetings booked. That means deliverability, list quality and the real cost of a tool are day-job problems for me, not theory.

It also means I have a bias, and I would rather state it than hide it. Emailchaser is ours, so every comparison on this blog says so, names what each competitor genuinely does better, and date-stamps its pricing so you can check whether it has gone stale.
