Protect your domain with DMARC

DMARC ties SPF and DKIM together and tells receivers how to handle mail that fails — and just as importantly, it sends you reports on who's sending as your domain.

This generator builds a valid DMARC record with the right tags so you can deploy it correctly and start in safe monitoring mode.

Authentication plus clean lists

DMARC stops spoofers and builds trust with mailbox providers, but reaching the inbox also depends on sending to real, valid addresses.

Pair your DMARC setup with Emailchaser's free email verifier to keep bounces low and your reputation strong.

Common questions about DMARC records

What is a DMARC record?

DMARC is a DNS TXT record that tells receiving servers what to do with email that fails SPF or DKIM checks for your domain, and where to send reports. It protects your domain from spoofing and improves deliverability once SPF and DKIM are in place.

What DMARC policy should I start with?

Start with p=none. It monitors and sends you reports without affecting delivery, so you can see who's sending as your domain. Once your legitimate mail passes, tighten to p=quarantine, then p=reject.

Where do I put the DMARC record?

Add it as a TXT record at the host _dmarc on your domain (so the full name is _dmarc.yourdomain.com). You need SPF and DKIM set up first for DMARC to be meaningful.

Is the DMARC generator free?

Yes — it's free, requires no signup, and generates the record entirely in your browser.
