The 7 Best Bulk Email Verification Services in 2026

A list full of dead addresses bounces, and bounces hurt the inbox you send from. These are the seven bulk email verification services we would shortlist for a big list, compared on what a large job costs, how unknown results are billed, how you can try them free and what else the same account does.

Updated 3 November 2026

The short answer

Emailchaser is our pick for cold email teams with big lists. It cleans a list free in your browser, a paid job verifies up to 50,000 addresses, a second, independent provider checks again every address the first one does not reject, and 1,000 addresses cost $1.70 to $3.40 in checks.

ZeroBounce, Kickbox, Emailable and Bouncer do not charge for unknown results. Emailable, Bouncer, DeBounce and GetProspect sell credits that never expire.

Prices and free starts as published on each vendor's own pages, read on 3 November 2026.

Verifying 50,000 addresses costs about $132 to $217 on Emailchaser, a month of the Starter plan included.

Cost of verifying 50,000 addresses in one go, at each service's listed price
Emailchaser
$132 to $217
Bouncer
$250
Kickbox
$275

Emailchaser's bar is 50,000 addresses at one or two checks each ($85 to $170) plus one month of the Starter plan ($47) that the checks bill on. Bouncer and Kickbox are their listed 50,000-address packs. Most other pages show a price only for the pack you select, so they have no bar. Lower is better.

Clean and verify a big list in five steps before you send.

  1. CleanRemove duplicates and bad syntax in a free list cleaner that runs in your browser.
  2. VerifyRun the list through a bulk verifier, up to 50,000 addresses per Emailchaser job.
  3. RemoveDrop every undeliverable address.
  4. SplitPut the risky catch-all addresses in a small separate batch.
  5. SendSend the rest, and check the unknown ones again a day later.

We compared them on five things that decide the bill for a big list.

  • What a big list costs, where the vendor's own page shows the price of the pack.
  • What happens to unknown results and duplicates: whether they use a credit.
  • How you can try it free, and how much of a list the free start covers.
  • Whether credits expire.
  • What else the same account does, such as finding leads or sending the campaign.

Every fact below comes from the vendor's own pages, read on 3 November 2026.

These are the seven bulk email verification services worth a look in 2026.

Our pick for cold email teams with big listsOUR PICK

1. Emailchaser verifies up to 50,000 addresses in one job and checks each one with a second provider.

$1.70 to $3.40 per 1,000Up to 50,000 per jobFree list cleaner in your browser

Emailchaser cleans a list for free in your browser first: duplicates removed, syntax checked, role and free-provider addresses flagged. Its paid verification then checks the format, the mail server and the mailbox, and a second, independent provider checks again every address the first one does not reject.

  • The free list cleaner takes up to 10,000 rows. It runs in your browser, so the list is never uploaded.
  • $0.0017 per provider check, and an address takes 1 or 2: $1.70 to $3.40 for 1,000 addresses. Checks bill on top of any plan, from $47 a month.
  • Paid plans verify up to 50,000 addresses in one job, and the 7-day free trial verifies 100 addresses from a list.
  • Import a list into a campaign with invalid addresses filtered out, so every address is checked before its first send.

Best for: Cold email teams that want to verify a big list and send it from the same tool.

People ask these questions about bulk email verification.

What is the best bulk email verification service in 2026?

For cold email teams with big lists we pick Emailchaser: a paid job verifies up to 50,000 addresses, a second, independent provider checks again every address the first one does not reject, and 1,000 addresses cost $1.70 to $3.40 in checks. ZeroBounce, Kickbox, Emailable and Bouncer do not charge for unknown results.

Is there a free bulk email verifier?

Emailchaser's bulk email verifier cleans a list free in your browser, up to 10,000 rows: duplicates removed, syntax checked, and role and free-provider addresses flagged. It also gives 3 free live checks a day with no signup, and its 7-day free trial verifies 100 addresses from a list. ZeroBounce gives 100 free credits a month, Emailable 250, and Kickbox, Bouncer, DeBounce and GetProspect 100 each.

How much does it cost to verify 50,000 email addresses?

On Emailchaser the checks cost $85 to $170 (one or two checks an address at $0.0017 each), plus a plan from $47 a month that the checks bill on. Bouncer lists its 50,000-credit pack at $250 and Kickbox lists its 50,000-verification pack at $275. Prices are read from each vendor's own pages on 3 November 2026.

How do I verify a large email list?

Clean it first by removing duplicates and bad syntax, then upload it to a bulk verifier and drop every undeliverable address. Send the risky catch-all addresses in a small batch and check the unknown ones again a day later.

How big a list can a bulk verifier take at once?

Emailchaser's paid plans verify up to 50,000 addresses in one job. Emailable's pricing page says it verifies a list of any size, and the other pricing pages we read do not state a limit for one job.

What happens to unknown results in a bulk job?

An unknown result means the mail server did not give a definitive answer in time, often on purpose, and it is not the same as invalid. ZeroBounce says it never charges for them, Kickbox refunds the credit, Emailable returns the credits when the list finishes and Bouncer does not bill for them. Check unknown addresses again later.

What bounce rate is safe for cold email?

Keep your bounce rate under 2 to 3 percent. Above that, mailbox providers such as Google and Microsoft start treating your domain as a spam risk, which pushes even your good emails to the spam folder. Verifying the list before every send is the most reliable way to stay under it.

Is my list uploaded when I clean it?

Not with Emailchaser's free list cleaner: it runs in your browser and the list never leaves your device. A paid verification job does send the addresses to be checked, because the checking happens on a mail server and with the verification providers.

P.s. these are actually real reviews (not fake G2 reviews) 🙂

“Btw thanks for your continuous help, best support ever! It means a lot as when I understand how the tool works, esp. In problematic situations, and And what it can do and cannot so from the start, I have more trust. There’s nothing worse for a user than what Smartlead does: lots of great features that don’t really work, including crucial ones for a sequencer like auto fallback to connected accounts when account gets disconnected (doesn’t have to get back to the original one after reconnection, no one expects miracles, just a solid infra delivering on its specs - not promises), plus their low quality support when the issues are revealed.”
